Firstly, we all need to
thank Jane Dobson for organizing this reunion as she has
done an excellent job, well done. I hope Jane was pleased with
the turnout as it appeared to be very well attended. Speaking
for myself and a few others, we had a great time and hopefully
there will be another reunion at a later date. The venue was the
Ancient Foresters pub in Wibsey, Bradford (7:30pm, 8th
May 2004). After the evenings meeting, talking and drinking was
over some people went home, some went clubbing and some went for
a meal. All in all the entire night was a great success with everybody
getting on very well. It was good to see that everybody (on the
whole) was happy with their 'lot' in life.
A special mention most
go to the late Ravinder 'Vinny' Vora (correct spelling
?) who sadly died last year at the very early age of 37 (?) whilst
playing football with his son. Those of us who knew Vinny were
very sad to hear of his untimely demise.
If anybody wants to send
any of their photo's to me for inclusion here then please do so
as I don't mind hosting this page. If you have created a similar
page then let me know about that too and I'll link to it from
here. If you have any stories from the night (or any other time)
that you want to share then I will also put those up here for
you along with any e-mail contacts, etc that you wish to include.
I think it is fair to say
that the Friends Reunited
web site has helped greatly with this reunion so it is only fair
to give them a mention too. Check there for updates and more photo's.
If, for any reason,
you wish me to remove any of these photo's please just say so
and I will take the offending photograph away !
